Ha, you guys should take a bucket of red paint along to Madagascar. An old Peugeot 404 will be perfect for cruising and it's undercarriage is made for Africa!
Try to get an original roof rack - then you can place an old suitcase ("koffer") or two on the roof and if you happen to buy chickens or decide to kidnap any locals, that's where they go...

enjoy.

We have a Peugeot sitting unhappily in the garage, longing and pining to drive around Africa, probably for the second time. The furthest it's gone with us is the Karoo so we've been starving it of adventure. Our main problem is that we can't find anywhere really reliable to get it looked after. Any suggestions? Cape Town area.. Anyway, maybe we'll see you there as we've been gathering momentum to take a trip like that for years (probably since we first watched GNS). Happy tripping!

Hello.I used to watch your show "Going nowhere slowly" every sunday when i was back home in Botswana.I now live in Canada and i was wondering if there was any way i could buy a dvd or download all the episodes from the show.In my opinion, that was the best travel show to come out of Africa and i miss it greatly.Cheers.
